In staying with the theme of Cannondales, here is a rather beat up example. Diggin’ it though. I was informed that those smooth welds, popularly thought to be filed down, are actually what is called a “double-pass” weld. A fine example that craftmenship in framebuilding is not limited strictly to fancy lugs and brazing techniques. Nothing, of course, against fancy lugs.
